Thanks for the update. I'm glad everything went well with the move. Keeping you all in my thoughts and prayers.

Sounds like some good progress. Thanks for keeping us up to date on the progress. You're still in our prayers.

Take care,

I'm so glad the move went well. Thanks for keeping us updated, and your family continues to be in our thoughts and prayers.

So glad to hear that Tammy is getting a break. And encouraging news from the doctors! Keep the faith.

Three years ago, my neighbor had a seizure one night and fell into a coma. She was a young, healthy, 33 year old mother of two. We went to same church, our children were the same ages and we were same age also. It was such a shock to us. Totally unexpected. She never regained consciousness. Doctors said it was some kind of virus that went to her brain. Last year, she finally passed away. The hardest part was watching her two little boys cope with the tragedy. And still trying to cope.

When things like this happens to some one who is so young and so unexpectedly, it's very hard. You just can't believe it's happening. Keep trusting in Him. He promises we won't be alone in this. I remember Natalie Grant's song-

...This is what it is to be loved and to know
That the promise was that when everything fell
We’d be held..

It just amazes me that there are so many folks out there who are praying for my MIL and us. We cant thank you enough. We love you all!

Good news! We saw her open her eyes last night, all but for a brief while. And the nurse was successful in getting a lot of gunk up from her coughs. There is still a lot there, but it is beggining to loosen up. They have her ventilator down to 40%.

One concern is her kidneys. They arent doing quite right, therefore the sedation medicine isnt flushing out as quick as they would like. They may do one dialysis treatment to help.

Thanks for the continued support. May God bless all here on the DIS.

Thank you so much for the update. I know you and your DW must be exhausted. I will be praying for continued good news.

Thanks for the update. That's great progress. Continued prayers for you all.

Take care.

Praise! 40% and opening her eyes!!! I pray for her lungs to continue to improve and for her kidney function to get better. I also pray for you & DW to have extra strength and comfort through the Lord. Like jakenjess said... I know you must be exhausted. God bless you.

Yes, Jimmy, may God bless you and your family. :cloud9:

Yes, I will continue to include all of you in my prayers. I can just imagine how exhausting and trying this in on your wife, especially. It is so sad to see a loved one suffering and being there with them as much as possible is so important to you yet so tiring. God Bless you guys and keep you strong!:grouphug:

One step at a time, although stressfully slow, it is progress. Make sure you and other family members are getting rest and are eating. Will keep sending good thoughts your way.
