Hi everyone,

I'll be bringing a group of 12 college students to Orlando in a few months and am thinking of taking them to Universal/IoA for one day.

My current thought/plan: Arrive at 9:00 (Park Opening)
9:00 - 12:00 Visit WWOHP & Spider-Man
12:00 - 1:00 Lunch
1:00 - 7:00 Visit Studios
(desired attractions: MIB,
Simpsons, Mummy, Despicable Me,
RRR, Terminator)

Questions:

1) Is this possible in one day?
2) Would we benefit from purchasing the Express Pass at the Studios?

It is possible to do the highlights of both parks in one day. A lot depends on when you go. You can purchase the express pass at many locations within both parks. So if you think you are not accomplishing as much as you need to, you can purchase it then. I don't advise purchasing it ahead of time because it is date specific and non-refundable.

The only day we could/would go would be March 8th; does that change your advice?

Crowds should be relatively light on March 8. No matter what, I wouldn't buy the express pass in advance. Get to IOA at least half an hour before stated opening time as the gates usually open about 15 minutes early. Head straight for the Wizarding World and do the Ollivander's attraction. Then do Forbidden Journey.

After that, I would do Dragon Challenge, Jurrassic Park River Adventure, Spiderman and Hulk and Cat in the Hat.

Then I would head over to the studios and do the headliners there. Personally I would leave out Terminator if time constraints hit. You should be able to do everything else. I wouldn't do a sit down lunch. Just grab something at Three Broomsticks. I would do dinner at Citywalk after the parks close.

I believe Jurassic Park is closed when we're down; so that should make it easier.
