We are going to be staying at SL for 8 nights. I would love to take my blackberry tablet with me ( like an ipad, but the blackberry version) I wanna take it with me to keep in contact with family and friends while we are away. I've never used wireless outside my own house before. We have it at home though. So how does the Internet thing work? Do I buy a pass at the hotel shop or do bank details once I try to go online?
I won't be using it much at all, maybe half hour a night, and maybe not even every night.
I'm not even sure if it's worth taking it with me, or just text people instead?
It's not like I will be going on to chat to people etc, if I'm in Disney I'm gonna be wanting to enjoy it, not be online everynight if you know what I mean.
I could easily go without for the 10 days that we are away.
I'm talking myself out of it now am I??
Lol

How much will it cost for the Internet?

In your opinion, would you take it for light browsing in the evenings? Or is it just not worth it if it's stupidly expensive?

Sorry for the rambling on and on, I'm just in two minds weather or not to take it.

Not sure how much the internet is in the hotels but both Starbucks and McDonalds in the village have free wifi.

we had free wi fi at the kyriad ,great i thought but none of us used it we were either to knackered or to busy :rotfl2:,i just like my mobile for emergencys and for a quick hi we are here call home ,i kinda like to be cut off from the real world for a while when im in my happy place:cloud9:

I'm pretty sure that you can only get Wifi in the bar/reception area at SL and not in the rooms

I won't be able to use the free wifi in the village, as I will have my toddler with me on this trip, and he won't sit. So its best to go online when he's asleep

You can get it in the rooms on the lower ground floor as i was in one and was able to log into it.. £20 euros for a week i think it was... Personally i would take it and get it, the evenings if you go back to the hotel can be very long if you go back early as TV is limited etc. Spent hrs per evening on mine passing the time.
