oh Claire, so sorry you are having to go through this agony not knowing what is going to happen. Every minute must feel like an hour and every hour a week. There is nothing worse than just having to wait on something you have no control over. Thinking of you and fingers crossed that each day will bring some good news.

i had mrsa after haveing wieght loss surgery, it took me about a 5 to 6 weeks to be free of it, it took several cousres of antibiotics, in large doses and getting the wound dressed everyday at one piont it seemed like it was a full time job going to the doctors.
i am pretty sure once they have identified what the infection is they will treat it with the right drugs and get it under control.

thankyou again everyone, you are all so lovely to keep offering me your support and you never get fed up with it, i really love out little uk community here
feeling a bit more positive after the weekend thank god, i was scaring myself with how low I was feeling and it was getting to the point i didnt even care if i went on this holiday. Anyway totally chilled out with the children yesterday with comfort food and movies, colin did make it over last night so we got some time together and managed a day with the kids at Alton Towers today. his mum went out with his sister yesterday for a while, which is first time in weeks, and told him to go out today, that he needed a break and she would be fine. so he has managed to step away last night and all day and proven to himself nothing bad has happened. so he is feeling more positive about coming away again. not decided yet as too soon but better than it was.

my grandad is doing well and much better than before in hospital and will be home in next couple of days, much improved there. and i feel nearly human again, although very very tired. am hoping today has made me tired enough to get wholes nights sleep

Hi everybody,
just to give you an update as I havent in a while. Colin's mum is doing much better and is up and about more and starting to leave the house which is great. We got a suitcase down from the loft today and he is talking about the holiday again so it looks like he is actually coming My grandad is coming out of hospital tomorrow, although still weak, but physically he is doing a lot better, just need to work on his frame of mind now as he has become very depsondant and resigned to just feeling like this, no interest in reading or even turning on the tv. Hopefully this will improve with time as he gets stronger.
I am feeling much better too, although very very tired from the school holidays so far, trying to get the kids out every day. And yesterday I had a 2 week early birthday with my friends as I wont be here on the actual day. we did the Ice Bar in London, relaxed in Hyde Park with a picnic and then a night out last night where I danced my socks off until 3am, came back for more merriment and went to bed when the sun was up
So things are looking a lot brighter around here and I wanted to say a big thank you to all of you that stopped by with messages of support and your thoughts, it really did help get me through and i just hope and pray that nothing else happens now. Just under 2 weeks to get through to my happy place
