I've been re-reading "Auntie Mame" and "Around the World with Auntie Mame" while my partner is in the hospital (have to do something while he's asleep), so I've got Mame on the brain right now. That and a lack of sleep have me spouting Mame-isms left and right. Pity the co-workers have no idea how witty I'm being.
Have you asked the girls if they would like to go? If they are grown up enough to have nice manners, they probably also are grown up enough to have some preferences on the matter. They might be totally thrilled at the prospect. Or maybe not... My kids at that age probably would not have wanted to take a 2+/- hour break in the middle of park touring for any kind of lunch.
I'm not sure about DL -- but at WDW, I think I remember reading that you can find a babysitter that will actually take your little folks park-touring when boring adult stuff prevents you from being there. Don't know if that would be an option or not for you.
Those amongst you who are adults should definitely GO...GO...GO.
Good to hear that your DH is home! Hope the little Tolliver guy is doing well too!
We'd never leave the girls out. The reason we are going is to spend time with them. I don't think they'd mind over much. Not once they saw that dessert table anyway!
I do have a question though. My DP doesn't eat much at any one sitting. She'd never do an entree and the selections at the buffet stations. Could she forego the entree?
LOL! I'll bet it is! She can only try, eh? If she is successful then we'll go and enjoy ourselves with the girls. If she isn't then we'll be a bit sad that we've missed out and are truly only mere mortals. <<sigh>>
