ooohhh...candlelight processional is one of our must do's every year! candlelight is a mass choir, orchestra, and a celebrity narrator telling the christmas story. the music is wonderful~very moving. we like to couple the performance w/the dinner package to make for a nice evening out. the performance is free, w/the package you are just paying for dinner. the time frame you are considering is very nice. the crowds are low, but you might see a little increase the closer to christmas break. here is a link that might answer any other questions :earboy2: :wave:http://www.allearsnet.com/tp/h_cpfaq.htm

Definitely worth it. Very beautiful. We've gone two years in a row now and have seen Ben Vereen and Marlee Maitlin. We are going in November this year, so will unfortunately miss it. We usually go to one of the later performances when it's dark and eat at our favorite, Le Cellier.

The Candlelight Processional is one of the main reasons we go to Disney before the holidays. It is truly spectacular.

We loved Candlelight Processional! It also snows at the end which is great! Our narrarator was Jodie Benson, the voice of Ariel.

One word - AWESOME!!!! We have done it many times.....there is no cost (not sure if that is what you meant by "worth it"), unless you decide to do the dining package - very much like the Fantasmic Dining Package, you have a reserved seating area, but not guaranteed seats. We did the package last year, as we were there 12/26, DD was in the show (she is a CM at MK) and we were concerned with holiday crowds, etc. Gary Sinise was the narrator -

(DD is right below the "star")....there is also a full orchestra, the Voices of Liberty are there, as well as local school and church choirs - they fill the whole stage area....did I say AWESOME!!!

Trumpeteers at Processional

Other times we have visited, we just got in line and waited for seating - never had a problem getting in. Can't imagine you would have problems at the beginning of your trip, especially on a week night. The show is usually done 3 times per night 5 - 7 and 8:30 I believe. We have seen Edward James Olmos (twice), Morgan Freeman and someone else (can't remember). The hightlight of Christmas at disney to me.
