need yer help

I'm 17. I want building a group home for rescued children in the USA. Ummm...Okay I went to my pastor to help me and all she said was "thats a great idea." I want a building with playgrounds and a farm and education and stuff like thatummm...how do I start? I've tried for 2 years, but never could figure out how to effectively start. Any suggestions?

Sounds like a social services project.

Have you tried contacting any of those groups in your community?

This sounds like a great project! It usually helps if you have an adult on your side. Maybe you cuold discuss this with a counselor at school and they could give you some hook ups? Otherwise- look for private groups that fit into this category and contact them.

Well, I would think that you would need a bunch of money and some land. You'll need a board of directors, lawyers and budget. Maybe a written proposal of what exactly you want to do and how you will do it.

Making sure that you get a good eduction first would probably be a good idea. Find some place to work with that population first to gain experience.

What kind of rescued children?
