First off, I am so sorry for what has happened. I think a lot of the advice given here has been really good advice and going to a rehab is the best right now even though many patients would rather be in the comforts of their own home and that is understandable. At rehab you will not only have Physical Therapy to get you stronger, but also Occupational Therapy so when you do get home you will know ways to manage around your home until you are 100%. In addition to that you will have Nursing Care around the clock to mange the pain which is very important. I am a New Nurse although I work in a Pediatrics Office and have seen little ones who have been recovering from broken bones. I am going to be completely honest that you will have to work hard and it may not seem like fun, but in the long run the professionals know what they are doing and it is for your benefit. Good Luck and Hang in there.
