Need Vero Beach Info.

After our 3-day Wonder cruise in March we will have 2 extra days to spend and we were thinking about renting some DVC points to stay at Vero Beach (I checked and its about 15 per night..this seems more relaxing than WDW which we just did for 9days in the summer). Can anyone provide me with any details about Vero Beach? This seems like a more economical option than say Cocoa Beach and I am assuming, being a Disney property the accomodations are better. Any info would be appreciated. Thanks

The resort is beautiful. It is located right on the ocean and also has a very nice pool area. It is not located in a "touristy" area -- it's actually an expensive residential area. The area itself has just about anything you might like to do but a car is the best way to get around -- there's a big mall and outlet shopping a short drive away. The Dodgers hold their spring training in Vero as well.
