need vacation suggestions :)

we are currently waiting to close on our DVC resale at SSR. we just need to send in our check, get our documents notarized, and wait!

my UY is june so on june 1 i will be getting 198 banked points from last year and 200 points for this year. the 198 points need to be used obviously by may 31, 2011.

now, we probably won't close til april 20-something and i won't be able to book anything til probably may when i get in the disney system.

i know that the THV would probably be impossible to get for sept, dec, or jan since it's less than 11 months. i was hoping we could take some family members(aunt, uncle, and their 3 kids). i'll first try for those anyway. i can get on a waitlist, right?

if you were me traveling with your spouse and little boy (he's 9 months old now), how would you travel with these extra points? that's ALOT of points to use for the next june 2010 - may 2011! should i bank some?

any suggestions on how we should vacation this and next year???

You don't have to wait until the month of your use year to get your points. They will be in your account when you are in Disney's system. I don't think that 198 banked points plus 200 current year points is too many points. We are using about that many for an 8 night stay in a 2 bedroom villa for late May. When you book larger accommodations, the points are used up very quickly!
