We (me, DH, DS & DD) are planning 9 days in Orlando followed by a cruise. I need some advice on getting around.

Here is our basic itinerary:

3 nights at Nick Family Suites
6 nights at Hampton Inn Maingate East
7-night DCL cruise

Right now we aren't planning on renting a car for the length of our stay, since both hotels offer free shuttle service to/from Universal and WDW. So, as far as I see it, we will need transportation to get:

From MCO to Nick Family Suites
From Nick Suites to Hampton Inn
From Hampton Inn to port
From port to MCO

I could really use some advice on the most economical way to accomplish this. I'm open to all suggestions. In other words, HELP! :teeth:

TIA!

I might recommend actually checking out rental car prices for the first part of your stay (making sure your drop off is at the port), and then a towncar from port to MCO.

Renting a car can sometimes be cheaper than all of the transfers you're thinking of.

This way, you're also not subject to the mercy of the inconvenient schedules of the park shuttles.

Otherwise, you might try and see if a towncar company will give you a discount if you book all of your transfers together.
