need to vent

Hi! Sorry to hear about all your trouble...It will all work out in the end. Hopefully the following will ease your mind...
1-My Coordinator, Pam, did have an assistant...and they were both great to work with.
2-Pam was quick at getting back to me on the regular but in the slight chance it took her a day or two she would send me an e-mail when she was back in the office apologizing.
3-I didn't wait long to get my initial LOA (about a week) but I am still waiting for my signed copy...so don't worry (i know that's much easier for me to say).
4-You would know if you were in a lottery...and if Bill didn't mention anything then you are fine with your event locations.
5-(This might be bad news...) Even though you are at your year mark and your about to sign your LOA...if a convention does want to book your location they can even though your LOA is signed. A convention will bring in a lot more money plus they will need to accommodate a lot more people then your wedding so it would be easier to move your reception to another location rather then relocate a whole convention. But on the flip side...they would probably already know about a convention since when I was meeting with Pam she told me that most conventions are booked years in advance since they don't have the same time line requirements.

I think I touched on everything...but Congratulations on your 1 year mark...it only gets more exciting from here! I'm counting down to my 6 month mark when all the $ and floral can be finalized! So CONGRATULATIONS and enjoy EVERY MOMENT!!! :goodvibes

Are you sure about this one? I'm pretty sure if you've got a signed contract the only reason they can move you is due to the weather. That's the only reason stated in my contract. So I think once you've signed, that's it, you've got it.
 
Mrs B Hugs to you! I know its frustrating since I got mine and you didnt get yours but then i wondered if I only got mine because i only have 2 weeks to get it back to them from AUS?

something must be going on because i emailed him about sites we wanted to see on 10/19 and not that a reply was completely necessary... but normally he sends something back acknowledging he got it. nothing yet.... but i'll see him in person next thursday.
 

Ok I have an update. his assistant emailed me back and let me know that Bill is on an unexpected leave. He said he was going to see if one of his colleagues gets back to me. DF is kinda annoyed and wants this taken care of so he said if we don't hear from anyone by this afternoon he's calling. Color me surprised. He's more frustrated by this than I am. LOL. Hopefully by this afternoon Ill know something. Wish me luck. I'll update as soon as I know somehing.
 
That explains why he didn't email you back but someone should be checking his emails when he is away should something come through that is urgent.

I will wait to hear the update.
 
Well that explains a lot. I knew it wasn't like him not to answer.

I'm going to call to make sure I still have a site visit :headache:

update:

(not meaning to hijack--just looking to help!)

so after still being mad... i called back and got a different person. i more calmly expressed my concern in hopes for an answer. what i was mainly looking for was a timeframe when someone would be in contact.

he told me there is a meeting tomorrow morning and they are going over everyone's calendars to help with his appointments. we should hear from someone on Thursday at the latest.

Thank you everyone for being so supportive. I really appreciate you all. :grouphug: Luvluvluv I hope you still get your site visit. So an update. I actually was able to speak to someone today. Dianne? She called me and let me know that she would take care of my documents. I just received 2 emails from her I guess about the room blocks and something else. She told me to get them back to her and if I needed anything to contact her. So needless to say I'm relieved! I'm glad to hear that they are all going to be taking care of his clients. Another update was that I was also able to book my MK & Epcot portrait. I'm not sure if anyone else heard this or not but I was told that they are no longer doing them at at 5 or 6 am. They are now picking you up at 7:30 am. I'm a lil bummed bc I luved the pics of the castle all lit up. Oh well. At least I have that scheduled and hopefully soon I'll have my LOA as well. Thanks again to everyone. You guys are awesome! :grouphug:
