My sis just decided last night that she and my 2 nieces will be traveling with us to WDW. (She initially cancelled this trip months ago and so it's back on.) The youngest niece has a b-day party this evening and my sis wants to surprise her then. Anyone have any creative ways of surprising the girls that will be easy to pull off in just a few short hours? I feel so pressured that I can't think of anything! Help! :worried:

What I did for my nieces surprise is... I printed out a calendar for the month my dh & I were taking them. Added Disney pictures and the dates of travel. Put in envelope for each of them to open. They were all excited and jumping up & down :Pinkbounc when they got to the dates that said leaving for WDW! :moped:

Someone posted a while ago about using fortune cookies and putting the message inside of them , I thought this was a really neat idea. But it depends on the girls ages .

I read about someone using a puzzle of Mickey Mouse to let the kids know that they were going to DW. Seems like they hid puzzle pieces around the house.

I did a google on calendar and used the 10000 year calendar. You can type in the date blocks then print out. Easy to use and quick!

You could make them both goody bags with things they'll use on the trip. Like sunglasses, coloring books, snacks, and other small Disney-related items. You could find most of this stuff at your local Dollar Store or Wal-Mart for really cheap. Then you could write out handmade cards or letters that explain they're headed to Disney World! I'm sure they would love it! :goodvibes

Wrap up a stuffed Mickey w/him holding a note saying something to the effect "I can't wait to see you when you visit!". When we surprised our kids w/a trip we wrapped up sunglasses, sun tan lotion, autograph books and sandals. At the bottom of the box was a brochure to WDW. But since you're working w/limited time you may not be able to do anything too detailed. How exciting for your family though!
