In the "Port excursions" area of the cruise for Castaway Cay, we're given the option of reserving things like floats, 1 hour of bicycle rides, snorkeling gear, etc. I understand the need to reserve "real" excursions, but is there any reason we need to reserve these more basic things? I guess I was expecting that Disney would have plenty of tubes/floats, snorkel gear setups, and bicycles that you could just rent one if/when you felt like it on the island. Is there a real reason we need to reserve ahead of time?
Oh, edited to add another question: for "real" excursions that become booked up (parasailing in this case) - do you know if they hold anything back for onboard booking, or if everything available is put out ahead of time, so our only chance is a cancellation?
