Need to maybe cancel our DVC res and we have DDP

We may have to cancel our DVC reservation for this March and I also had asked for the Disney Dining Plan for our stay. We rec'd our credit card statement and we were charged for the DDP (new rules by Disney to charge your right away).

My question is (Member Svcs are closed so I will call tomorrow) do any of you happen to know if we cancel our reservation with DVC will that also cancel our DDP and will we be refunded the cost for the Dining Plan?

Yes, when you call MS to cancel your DVC stay, be sure to mention that you already paid for the DDP so they can refund the $ to your credit card. Sorry to hear you may have to cancel your trip.....
