So I tried to book a week next Oct. starting on Oct. 13 2013. It was fully booked (Two bedroom BW view), just for that day. So my question is ...is Columbus Day and the week after (T-F) crazy crowded? We have been to Food and Wine 6 years in a row, but never the week of Columbus Day. the crowds have been totally manageable, but if the week of that holiday is nuts we may go a week later.

I need to call tomorrow morning if we go the week of Columbus Day so any quick answers would be great.

TIA

It is really hard to predict crowds but usually any week with a holiday in it, will be more crowded than a week without one.

All of October and most of November & December are very popular at BWV because of the proximity to Epcot. It doesn't necessarily correspond to park crowds.

We've been there Columbus Day weekend and although it seemed crowded, lines were short compared to Spring Break, Summer and Christmas time.
Not all states give Columbus Day as a holiday...Wisconsin and Colorado don't.

My boss was there over Columbus day and said it was more crowded than whe they were there during the summer. We were there two weeks later and many rides wer almost a walk on. (longest wait was 20 minutes or so).

If all things wer equal, I would go later in the month.
