Hi Experienced cruisers!! I was wondering if you could tell me the differences between the Wonder and Magic? I don't mean ship layout (Tritons vs. Lumiere's, etc.); and I've read the menus.....What I mean is...

Is the food the same? At Pinnochios and plutos - or do they have more variety? Is the food quality the same at the table-service restaurants?

How about Server's? Are they about the same or better / worse? Are dinners packed every night, or do more people skip their dinners if they are on a longer cruise?

How about entertainment? We had 3 movies that repeated during the course of the cruise (Plus one mature movie); how about the entertainers at night?

Thanks so much for your opinions! Jill

We've been on both so let me see if I can help answer your questions.

1. The food is the same on both ships. I think they menus are exactly the same on both ships.

2. All of our servers were great on both cruises. The dining rooms always seemed to be full. We did skip eating in the dining room one night, just so we could go to both showings of WWTBAM, but I'm not sure about other people.

3. There are more theater shows on the 7 night cruises and there was a large variety of movies onboard. We didn't ever go to see any movies though, we were to busy with other activities. The night time entertainment was fun. They had a different "theme" each night in the lounges like 80's and 70's nights. Some of the people we cruised with really enjoyed these. The crew really gets the audience involved.

Hope this helps.

We've done both.

Basically, the ships are the same in 95%of the areas. The service, the awesome food, the main shows, entertainment like Walk the Plank game show. The movies are going to vary week to week on both ships.

There are of course more activities on the Magic because you have more space to fill. And of course the individual acts are different because they can not be on 2 ships obviously, like a magician show, a juggler show or a comic.
