Need to cancel/change bounce back

I have a bounce back booked for later this month and will not be able to go because my son changed schools and the schedule is different. Is there any way to avoid the $200 cancellation fee? I tried to change to a different date but the CM said the code was not allowing her to change it, I had to cancel. Maybe all the BB dates have past?

Any advice? I'd rather spend the $200 at Disney than pay a cancellation fee...

I think you can ask them to change it to a new reservation sometime later in the year. Then, if you don't think you can go on that second trip, cancel it later, thereby avoiding the penalty.

I was going to suggest the same thing. Good luck.

Did you call Bounceback GS? That is who you need to be speaking to for BB modifications (407) 939-1923

When did you originally make the BB reservation, based on your post it sounds like the BB code is an old one that is no longer offered. Disney may not have any rooms available for that code anymore and that would be why the CM could not do any changes to it.

They should be able to apply that $200 to a new reservation even if the BB is no longer available. You need to ask them to look for availability without the BB code.

Another vote for trying the BB line. I never let the CMs on the regular reservations line touch my reservation because they don't really know how to work BBs.

This happened to us once and the CM actually told me to do this, to avoid the penalty.

We rescheduled our October BB to September, then moved it completely to February 2017. The Feb trip is not the BB offer, but no issues moving it around.
