need tips for wheelchair bound neice

hi all , in about a year and a half im planning a trip to dis with 3 adults and 3 children.one child has rett syndrome and is 100% disabled. can anyone who has been through through disney with either a handicapped child or adult give me any advice on where to stay and basic tips to make this a smooth trip.?? :grouphug:
 
A few things that will assist us in advising you. How old is she? About how much does she weigh? Does she have any mobility or does she have to be assisted at all times? Anything else you can tell us. It is difficult to give specific advide without some knowledge of the actual circumstances.
 
Just time for a quick note. You can do a search of this board (the Search button is along the top in a line with other commands right under the box that says "Welcome 999thghost".
What you want to do is an advanced search and look only on this board. Search for GAC, Guest Assistance Card. You may also want to do a search for autism since Rett syndrome shares a lot of features with autism.
