Need tips for drying/pressing flowers

OK all you craft-oriented DISers out there.

What is the best way to dry/press flowers? DGD wants to do that to flowers she carried in Mom & Dad's wedding.

Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Have you asked on the scrapbook board here on the DIS? Lots of craft folks there also.

I have seen some kind of crystals used on the craft programs on TV. The one I am thinking of can be used to cover large amounts and preserve them. You may need to disassemble the bouquet to get it to dry properly before the inner most flowers decay.

I just found it on www.michaels.com. It is called silica gel. They have a couple brands. Good luck.
