need tips for december w/ little ones

We are going to WDW first week in december with our six kids (ages 14 yrs to 12 months). I'm concerned about the weather and what to bring clothing-wise. Also have a great single stroller but would you recommend the combi SUBV i've heard about on the boards or bring mine from home. I remember standard strollers are tough to get on and off transportation! Any other tips on a december trip with lots of great kids would be welcome. We already have tickets to MVM Christmas Party. Any first night suggestions? We're staying at OKW. Thanks a ton! Can't wait to be on MainStreet USA!

We were at WDW the second week of December, last year. The weather was perfect. We wore shorts all day, brought a light weight sweatshirt to throw on for EE and in the evenings. We did not swim, but there were people in the resort pool. We have two DD's 1 and 5 and we brought our double jogging stroller. It is a bit more difficult to get on the bus, but for the convenience it offers us each day, the extra size of the stroller was worth it. There were so few people in the parks and on the busses, that it wasn't a problem. BTW, we brought it again on our trip at Easter and will be bringing it in 21 days to the BWV!!!!

Last year we took our 4 month old DD in the begining of December last year. It was FREEZING!!!!! The rain brought a cold front in the night before. Living in Fl. has taught me one thing, you never know what the weather will really be. Because the parks are in a open area you do not have tall buildings to block the wind. Riding on the trams with the wind blowing on you or the cold rain is not fun. I would suggest bringing plenty of cool clothes and them some warm clothes for night time or just incase. Check out the weather channel and hope they are right. You will have fun no matter the weather.
