I am trying to plan out our itinerary so I will be ready to reserve my fastpass+ rides and I am not sure my timing will work. My plan on 6/9/15 is to use a FP for the 9pm Fantasmic! show, but I also have Star Wars Character dinner reservations at 7:30pm in the park.

Is that too tight? I'm not sure how early I need to get to Fantasmic! if I have a FP. Thanks!

That will be pretty tight. As soon as you are done eating you will have to make the long trek to Fantasmic. For my family, an average sit down meal takes at least an hour.

I also think it's a bit tight. The general rule of thumb is to allow between 60 to 90 minutes for a table service meal. It depends on how busy the restaurant is, how quickly you are seated, etc. In terms of F!, even with a FP, you still need to get to F! on the earlier side if you want a good viewing spot (I'd probably aim for 30 minutes or so as a minimum). Personally, I wouldn't want to spend the meal feeling like I had to keep track of the time, so I would probably try to move the ADR to closer to 6:30 pm.

That's what I was thinking <sigh>. It's the only time that character meal is available during our stay. I might just move Fantasmic! to another day since I know the kids will really like Star Wars Mickey. Thanks!
