Need Ticket Help - Don't Understand Which is Best?

Hi all - we have family friends who are traveling to WDW next week. It is a trip with 2 adults and a 5 year old. They have never been to WDW and are looking to visit 4 or 5 days. Which tickets make the most sense for them to purchase once they get there? They are not looking for any package deals that include a resort stay - just the tickets - any suggestions? Well ... if they're planning on going to the parks every day, then a four or five day MYW ticket without options, but with park hopping is what I'd suggest. They're not likely to make good enough use of the options (water parks, DQ, PI) to make it worth their while to get them, but they may find park-hopping to be a good thing to have. It doesn't sound like they're frequent visitors (yet ), so they will probably use all of their days during the trip, so they can skip the no expiration option.

They can actually start with a 5 day basic ticket and add more features as they need them.

If on one day they have the uncontrollable urge to leave one park and go to another (for example the park they entered was awfully crowded) they can add park hopping for $37.

If they wanted to visit a water park or Disney Quest or Pleasure Island they would have to stop and think, if it is just one visit to one of those places all week, they would buy a separate admission ticket. If two to four visits to one or any combination of those places they would add the plus pack (plus options) to their park pass for $48.

Finally if they decided to plan another Disney vacation before they returned home they could both expand the ticket to have an additional 5 days and add non-expiration, both for $125. (Another 5 day basic pass, not including hopping costs $206.)
