Are the Teva Mush flip flops that comfortable? I get nervous because last year when i went I wore a basic flip flop and they KILLED my feet and suffered for the rest of the trip. They really give enough comfort and support for an entire day in the parks?
No way could I wear regular cheap flip flops down there with my high arches, but I've worn Teva Mush and Montrail Molokini flip flops down there for years and absolutely loved them. I felt both had great arch support. However, in the last seven months I've developed plantar fascilitis and my beloved Teva Mush killed my feet this past Dec down there.
After alot of research and trial and error, I've found the best fit flop I've ever found. It's the Orthaheel Tide or Orthaheel Wave flip flops. They were developed by a podiatrist for his patients. They are absolutely wonderful, but probably would not work for someone with flat arches as they have a rather high arch. The Fit Flops and Merrills also seem to work well with my plantar facilitis.
I always get a 9 in Teva Mush though.
here's a link to my shoe!
But they look really comfortable. I like that you can wash them too.
While walking on pavement or in a store, I felt like there wasn't enough cushioning on my heels. The balls of my feet felt fine. I went to the playground and stood on mulch for about an hour and the backs of my knees were achy. I guess I'll keep looking.
