Time to leave Disney!
Sorry but the prices (even with the discount) for the quality are just hysterical.
My suggestions
1. Swan/Dolphin. They have an AP Discount too. And they have interior corridors, a REAL rewards program, heavenly beds. None of which Disney offers!
2. Hilton DTD
Both of these have EMH if that's a key.
Since EMH does nothing for me. Other options
1. Hilton Bonnett Creek.
2. Marriott Village hotels (Courtyard, Fairfield, Springhill suites0
3. Other DTD hotels. (mixed quality, but I have read great reviews on the redone Holiday Inn)
For the price/quality I will pay to get to Disney. Sorry but "exterior corridors, pathetic beds, pathetic internet, no rewards program" etc.. Disney doesn't measure up in most categories of hotel management except for pricing. In that area they LEAD the pack. It's kind of like an Orlental Rug Shop.. Open shop, raise prices to 200% over realistic value, Put up going out of business sign, mark everything down 100%, still make a fortune. Disney uses the same model on hotel pricing. Mark it up well over the value, offer discounts and folks buy thinking you have a "deal" when in fact you are still overpaying for the quality... Sad!
