We are going in December this year, and really want to try new places. We usually go to pretty much the same places every year, and really want to try something new. So I just wanted to get other peoples suggestions!

We usually go to the Coral Reef, Tony's, The Liberty Tavern, Sci-Fi, California Grill, The Plaza, Chef Mickey's and a few other places, but we really want to "broden our horizons"!

So let me know your favorites!! :) TIA

wow, so your a regular at Tony's??? May I ask why? LMAO!! :lmao: Kidding. Sort of.

Ohana breakfast is AWESOME! I heard dinner is great too, will try that for the first time in Aug.

Tusker Breakfast is fantastic, the best food!!!!!!!!!!!! They also have characters at lunch now in case you didnt know.

Crystal Palace (all meals) & 1900 PF (breakfat) is great. Always enjoyed our meals here.

1900 PF dinner was disappointing. Food wasnt good, but characters were a riot.

Also want to recommend: Teppan Edo, Via Napoli, 50's Prime.

A few of our favorites are The Wave at the Contemporary, Les Chefs and La Hacienda de San Angel.

A few of my fav's are:

Teppan Edo- good food and entertaining chefs
Cape May Clambake- Good food, big variety
Yak & Yeti- good food

I highly recommend, FF at the BW, Chef de France Epcot, the Bakery France (Epcot) for lunch

I'll second Ohana dinner and breakfast, both are great. We also love 1900 Park Fare dinner. The food isn't anything to write home about, but the characters are great. We're trying 1900 Park Fare breakfast in March. I haven't been in years.

The Hoop Dee Doo is also a lot of fun. We usually plan it on our relax day as our evening entertainment. Its a must do for us.

We ate at Yachtsman years ago and really enjoyed there too.

Kona for breakfast is also pretty good too.

It doesn't look like you have much on your list in Epcot and that is a GREAT place to broaden your culinary horizons! As others have stated Chefs de France and LeCellier are delish. Eating in Mexico or at Teppa Edo can be really entertaining too. You can even just graze around the world showcase and get a little taste of a lot -- chocolate crepes in France are one of our favs.

Also, if you are in the mood for counter service, Sunshine Seasons has great variety and really good food.

Outside of Epcot, we like Hoop for fun, Narcossees for the view, and Artists Point because -- well yum!

Have fun!

Another vote for Hoop de Doo..a must for us as well :) This trip we are also doing Ohana for dinner and am excited to try Boma when we go in May (check out the animals at the resort!). I know alot of folks have been down on San Angel Inn, but we just love the atmosphere there, and the margaritas are excellent. Biergarten in Germany was a pleasant surprise for us last trip. Happy eating!

wow, so your a regular at Tony's??? May I ask why? LMAO!! :lmao: Kidding. Sort of.

I asked myself this the last time we went, it was pretty average and not worth my DDP. We went a few times and actually REALLY enjoyed the meal, maybe we were just extra hungry on those days ;) haha but definitely over Tony's!!

A few of our favorites are The Wave at the Contemporary, Les Chefs and La Hacienda de San Angel.

Thanks! Def want to try The Wave and La Hacienda de San Angel!

We went to Kona the last time for breakfast and it was really good, I want to try Ohana next time, I've heard good things!! We will prob 1900 Park Fare because we have done it, but not often. I am also going with my DF who has only been a few times, so I really want to do different stuff every time so he can really enjoy it!

We LOVED Hoop Dee Doo! DF did it when we went for NYE, first time for both of us, but it will definitely be something that we do on our next trip! I was starting to become skeptical after reading some posts on here, but SO glad that I did it!!

We also did Via Napoli for the first time, and he still talks about the pizza, so since that is not somewhere that we have over done, we will definitely be back for more of that ;) haha

Thanks for all of your suggestions! I am excited to try new places! :)

A few of our favorites are:

Kona cafe and Teppan Edo for their dinners. I also must say that to my surprise, last year when we went to Planet Hollywood, the crab cakes that I had were awesome and everyone else in our party enjoyed their meals too. I also tried the Turf Club for the first time on our last trip and it was excellent. I would definitely go there again.
Enjoy!

OP, we like Tony's too. I'm in the same boat, wanting to try all new places. So far my new list includes The Turf Club, Saana, Cape May, Rose and Crown, and 50s. Good luck! :goodvibes

I asked myself this the last time we went, it was pretty average and not worth my DDP. We went a few times and actually REALLY enjoyed the meal, maybe we were just extra hungry on those days ;) haha but definitely over Tony's!! >>>I wasnt going to get into it, but since you asked.....I think Tony's is gross! Ate there once, never EVER again. Their marinara sauce is disgusting, and im convinced thats what ruined both meals. Their salad was wilted as well. Dessert was the only good thing. We wont be back....ever.

Its exciting trying new places. Im always picking new places with maybe just two faves. Thank goodness Disney has a variety of restaurants to choose from!

Oh, did i suggest Cape May breakfast? Wonderful food & atmosphere! Characters are great. And also Raglan Road....thats another good one. Yummy food! The bonus is the entertainment (step dancers & band!)

A few of our favorites that we do every trip are Cape May Cafe (breakfast and dinner), Boma, and Ohana :).

Most of your faves are "American" type fare (not that that's a bad thing, but just sayin ;)) We personally try and get away from that type of food on vacay since we can eat that anytime/anywhere.

Anyhow, some of our faves are:

Teppan Edo/Tokyo Sushi
Le Cellier
Cape May
Sanaa
Boma
Kona
Wolfgang Puck (the cafe has gone down in quality IMHO (still not bad), but I still love  the express location in the Marketplace)

I'm sure I'm missing some, but these are usually are "must-dos"! Enjoy!

We love Biergarten! We have also had good experiences at Garden Grill, Grand Floridian Cafe, and Kona.

I am trying to broaden my horizons too. (It's hard to skip old favorites, though.) For my new restaurants this time we will be trying Sanaa, Raglan Road, and Les Chefs de France. I can't wait!

Every trip we try some new places...but we have our must do repeats also.

The winner of best new place on our last trip & it is a must repeat for sure:
Flying Fish! Wow! It was awesome!!

Ohana for supper is another always repeat place. We love it.

Coral Reef is always on the list for my Dh & LeCellier is usually on my list of repeats.

Last trip San Angel Inn was a favorite of ours also. Was our last meal of the trip after eating lots of super meals...we were on the signature plan..& it was an impressive way to end the trip.

I think we are going to get into Le Cellier this trip! Its always so hard! haha The flying fish is another one too
