I am trying to figure out a list of places to give to our agent for our October trip. So far we have Ohana, Liberty Tree Tavern, Garden Grill, and 50s Prime Time Cafe.

My boys are going to be 10 & 8 when we go, and we are trying to find dinners to fill out our schedule. Chef Mickey's is out due to a bad experience last spring and seeing many not so good reviews in recent months.

Thanks!!!

My kids always liked the Cape May Breakfast character interaction the best (although Mickey and Stitch at Ohana breakfast if good too).

My kids also always liked (my kids are 16 and 19 now their tastes have changed) Coral Reef and Teppan Edo. Cinderella Royal Table was fun because we were in the Castle.

Now my son wants to go to Le Chefs to get the Duck confit or something like that. We have moved on...;)

Even though the characters may not be of interest to your boys, I went to Crystal Palace last summer with my nphews (ages 12, 10, and 7) and girls (ages 6 and 4) and it was theri favorite! Lots of good, food and choices! The boys even wanted their pictures taken with Tigger and the gang!

At those ages (well he still does and he's 12 now) my son liked Ohana and Tusker House for character meals. He also loves the 50's diner and the Biergarten. I know for some the german good isn't a thrill, but my ds is all about the sausage!

It's a little harder to find a good meal for boys since the majority are geared toward girls (excluding the ones with the Fab 5, but there's only so many times you can see them!). 1900 Park Fare was okay for our boys (Pooh, Tigger, Mary Poppins, Alice and the Mad Hatter) but we aren't rushing to do it again. Chef Mickey's was okay (except for the wait) and we even tried Cinderella's Royal Table, but our boys were 7 and 4 and the 4 year old loved Beauty and the Beast at the time.

That is one thing Disney is very behind the times on - they have so many options for girls with the princesses and the fairies, but the boys are pretty much relegated to Hollywood Studios with the Pixar themes. And even then there's no Pixar character dinner.

My DS loved the Mad Hatter at 1900 PF breakfast, when he was around that age. 1900 PF dinner, with the stepsisters, would also be fun for them. Other than that, maybe Ohana's breakfast with Stitch. (I don't know if you have Ohana booked for breakfast or dinner.) By that age, my DS only liked the characters that were funny & entertaining. Strangely, he enjoyed character meals more at 18, than he did at that age. For a non-character meal, Sci-Fi is great for boys.

I also think 1900 Park Fare is a good choice. We really enjoyed out breakfast at Tusker House this year. Good characters and good food. I have also enjoyed Cape May in the past. We went to CRT this year and even though it was a "princes" thing my boys liked eating in the castle and loved the swords they got.

I know you asked about dinner...but I have to put in another vote for the 'Ohana breakfast with Stitch and Mickey. It's a blast! Stitch is too funny and the food is yummy. I also recommend that you bring something to be autographed, because Stitch's autograph is completely in character.

Your boys might like Garden Grill. The restaurant revolves around The Land and they have Chip 'n Dale, Mickey and Pluto (I think).

My kids really like Biergarten. The band is funny and there are a lot of food options for everyone.

San Angel Inn is also kind of fun for kids. They can go on the Three Cabelleros before dinner and the theming is fun with the thunder and weather changes inside.

Tusker House, Cape May, & Ohana breakfast are all great choices!!!! Love the food and characters.

For character lunch, how about Tusker House? Their character dining is new at lunch...heard the food was yummy.

We've always had a great meal and experience at Crystal Palace. My DS11 and I love that place too.
