Need Suggestions for Port Excursions in St. Kitts

Due to some procrastination by family members, most of the DCL sponsored port excursions are sold out. I would appreciate any suggestions as to outside vendors for excursions. I would also be interested in anyone's experience with taking a cab from the port to an area beach. Thank you.

We're sailing to St. Kitts for the first time this summer. We reserved chairs and an umbrella at Carambola Beach Club. From what I've read, the cab $15 each way and it's pretty close to the port.

We got day passes at the Marriott St. Kitts Resort & Casino. We reserved directly through the hotel & it was cheaper that way, but you can also reserve through resortforaday.com. Haven't gone yet (we're on the April 30th cruise) but all the reviews have been really great. We have two little ones so it's better for us not to be just at the beach all day, the option of pools & other luxuries make it worthwhile to us.

Thenford Grey - is who we used a few years ago. Wasn't "Private" but it turned out to be only us!! We were able to spend as much or little time at each location as we wanted to.

I was not interested in Romney Mannor - but we stopped anyway - and I am SO GLAD that we did. The grounds are beautiful. And bring money to buy beautiful fabrics (Clothes, Decor) from CarriBelle Batik

We spent a lot of time at the Brimstone Hill Fortress. My family loves historic places and fortresses. We spent a couple of hours here. It wasn't the clearest of days while we were there, but the views were still spectacular.

They also took us all over the island. If you wanted to spend some time at the beach as well as tour, I'm sure they would be more than willing (I think our guide wanted to take a longer break at the stop that had a beach & facilities than we did).
