Need suggestions for off-site deluxe resort with children activities

Our last stay at Disney was at BCV and we loved it. We are looking to vaca with another family and would like to share a 2-3 BR. We need fantatic pool(s), good restaurant(s), and preferably, activities for the kids.

Any and all suggestions welcomed!!

Have yu looked into renting a house. We did this in 2002 with another family and it was great. There are 5 of them and 5 of us.

the house we rented had 5 bedrooms and 3 baths, a full kitchen with eating area, a dining room , a living room and a sitting room. and its own private pool.

The kids loved that. It was very reasonable. We went near the end of august, spent 10 nites in the house. The cost was $55.00/nite/family. If we didn't buy into dvc We would rent a house everytime we came.

Some of these rental homes are right outside the park, maybe 2 miles from wdw

Try looking at the Vistana site.... A quick search for Vistana Resort should pull it up for you....

This place has tons of kids activities. If you look on their website, I think you will find an Activities List. It reads like a cruise ship!

We were very hesitant to leave our DS with the Kids Club for their weekly Pajama Party (Parents Night Out) Our initial 'first' impression was not great. But, we did it anyhow, so we could enjoy a nice supper out together. And, I was pleasantly surprised! It was much more structured than I had thought... DS had a nice time... The kids were resting on mats when we got back to pick him up. He had the CUTEST alligator painted on his face! it curled around from his eyebrow, down his cheek, and it was done where when he opened his mouth, the Alligator was opening it's mouth.

Vistana is very kid friendly. We had a very nice stay there.
