Need suggestions for Mom/Dad dinner...kids with Gramma

Please suggest where you would recommend for dinner for DH and I, boys will be with Gramma at the hotel....I was thinking of California Grill but was overwhelmed with courses/amount of food listed. We will not be on dining plan and plan to eat 8p or later....Is it frowned upon if you share with spouse?

2 adults, not on the dining plan? I'd definitely go with one of the better restaurants that are not on the dining plan. They have better food and service than Disney's restaurants. These would include Bistro de Paris in Epcot and the restaurants at the Swan/Dolphin (my favorites are bluezoo and Il Mulino). At DTD, there is also Fulton's and Wolfgang Puck's the Dining Room, although I don't like these as well as Bistro or the Swan/Dolphin eateries.
