You are in for a special treat!! 
A similar thing happened to us when the CR was overbooked during the SOG renovation. We'd had a tower room booked for over a year. It was going to be a special trip because DH, myself and our twins were celebrating our birthdays (my BIG one) and it was also our 15 year anniversary.
Disney called two weeks prior to our trip to say they had to move us over to the Poly but were upgrading us to LV Concierge. To say I was extremely upset would be a *major* understatement - I was still in my nightgown at 3 in the afternoon frantically calling every supervisor I possibly could telling them that as nice as it sounded, we didn't want to move - but surely somebody ELSE would love the upgrade.
Ultimately we absolutely had to move but eventually they offered us our choice of concierge at ANY deluxe resort. We reluctantly agreed and decided to stay at the Poly. Of course we now laugh at our naiveite and marvel at our extraordinary good fortune! It was incredible and the best trip of our lives!!! An interesting aside was that several months earlier I went on fun trip to a well known psychic. She told me I was going to Hawaii. I said, no, but I was going to Florida, though. She said "I'm seeing leis being put around your neck, it's definately Hawaii". Several days before our trip I remembered this reading so it was really cool when we pulled up to the *Hawaii* building and the CMs came out and placed leis around our necks. Since the psychic spoke a lot of my father who'd passed, I came to believe our little upgrade was a special birthday treat to me from my Dad in heaven.
