Need Suggestions About WL - What do I Ask For?

Hi - Thanks to so much great input about the WL, I've changed our ress. from POR to WL to suprise my DH for our anniversary at the end of Oct / beginning of Nov. We've never stayed there (only been there to eat one time) and we'll have a woods view room. What type of requests should I make for a great stay there? This is a "big deal" trip for us - not only will we be celebrating our anniversary, but my DH just completed his college degree after 14 years And fortunatley it was one week before our 2nd child was born So we have a lot to celebrate! I'm looking for any great suggestions to make the most out of our stay at the WL - Thanks

We love the Wilderness Lodge - in fact we will be there in January! I don't really have any suggestions as to what the ask for at the Lodge - But, I think that you will be at WDW during the Food & Wine Festival at Epcot. The best meal that my husband and I have ever had was at a Winemakers Dinner which took place during the Festival. I believe the name has changed, but I would suggest trying to get a resv. at one of the dinners. It is a great place to celebrate. In fact when we were there, one of the other diners at our table proposed to his Fiance - She accepted and the VP of Epcot sent over a bottle of champagne to celebrate. (Just what we needed after 6 diss. kinds of wine!)

ask for top floor, north wing, woods view. I think our fantastic room was number 6025, but dont quote me on it. It was quiet and had a great view of the MK fireworks!

At check in ask if there are any upgrades available. You may get lucky... If not, I like the 6th floor, on the side where Roaring Forks is. Avoid the 1st floor in this wing -- people use it as a short cut from the boat launch to the lobby.
