We are going to Disney World in Sept and I want to get a new lightweight stroller for DS. We already have a cheap Wal-Mart umbrella stroller (that I hate BTW!) but need something that I don't have to hunch over to push and don't kick the wheels when walking behind it. To rent a stroller at the parks are about $16.00 per day so I figured that I would be better off getting a new one and get rid of the Wal-mart piece of crap!!!

Some requirements that it will need is: basket underneath, cup holder for mommy and cupholder/tray for DS. Oh...and I don't want to have to spend $$$ for it. I hear alot about the Maclarren and Peg Pergo strollers but most of them don't have some of the requirements plus the price a little out of range.

I have looked at Babies R Us website and this one looks ok but the reviews are not very good.

I don't want to get down to Florida and have it fall apart on me!!

Any suggestions?

TIA!!!

We have done the kolcraft something or other and ss stroller both similar to this, both costing $30 for disney and they both had what you mentioned you would like, minus they might be a bit low, not sure how tall you are. I loved them.

BUT I must say I have given in and got my Maclaren yesterday and Peg Perego last month! Wish I would have from day 1! My son is 3 1/2 so waited way too long! They are well worth the money! And I have different uses for both!

I had the same problem when we went to WDW in JAN/FEB. I have twins---they were 2.5 at the time we went. I couldn't fit our double stroller in the car with everything we were packing, so we had to bring single umbrella strollers. The ones I had were too short (I'm 5'4" and hubby is almost 6'). I ended up getting one without a basket underneath because all the ones I looked at with the basket were too short or not very sturdy, narrow seats, etc.
Here's what we bought:

They worked out great & were easy to find in a crowd since they are red. I'm still using them, so 6 days at WDW didn't destroy them. :teeth: It has a cupholder for mom and a hanging bag on the back for jackets, toys, etc. You could also hang a diaper bag off the handles if you need to. I bought drink deputies so I could hook the boy's sippy cups to the strollers and they wouldn't need a cup holder. Here is a link to drink deputies, in case you don't know what they are. They work great! http://www.drinkdeputy.com/ I also bought snack traps (Babies R Us sells them now) so they could snack easily as well. I just linked the snack traps to the strollers, too, so they couldn't throw them. http://www.snacktrap.com/StoreFront.bok

FYI---I don't recommend that one from etoys mentioned earlier. I have it and it's too low when pushing. I have a backache by the time I get home.
Good luck!
