We are going on our very first trip to WDW Dec 2-9. We are at the Poly first half then off to Pop. It will be me, my DH, my DD who will 29 months old( looks like a 3 yrold and is 37" tall and almost 40 lbs, and our newest DD who will be a little over 4 months old but was a 33 week preemie who now at almost a month (Born July 24th) is only 6lbs.
Ok heres the problem, we bought an old Graco double stroller this spring, weighs almost 50lbs it seems, at a yard sale. Well I just got taken the girls for a walk and its not going to work, too hard to manuever and in 4 blocks I was ready to carry both kids on my hips its so hard to steer and push.
What I need is a decent relatively cheap solution. I have olders DD stroller, a nice Graco that we paid about $100 for last summer and weighs around 20 pounds that we can always take but I dont want to have to rent something for the oldest whom I KNOW will tire it, she may be a big girl, but she was also a preemie and still seems to tired out fairly easily.
Money is defaintely an issue, we are only able to go because I won the trip via McDonalds so plane tickets, hoppers and the poly portion of the trip is paid for. We ended up with an extraordinary amount of bills with Carrie being early that this trip has to be on a shoestring ( arent eligible for the dining plan for the Poly portion either).
Any and all ideas are appreciated including any ideas on a fairly cheap umbrella type stroller for my oldest.
