Need stateroom advice, please!

We have stayed in a category 9 with no kids and a category 4 with kids. We have 3 DD's, but this next cruise my mom and her DH will be cruising with us and said we could put one of our kids in their room. Then we wouldn't have to have a category 4 room and could save money. Would we be comfortable having 4 of us in a category 9? (DD's in our room would be 7 and 3). Is a category 6 any larger than the category 9 (orther than the verandah)? Thank you for any help you can give.

From everything I've read, the Cat 9 cabins and the Cat 6 cabins are the same exact size.

we've cruised almost exclusively cat 9's with DW and 2 DS's, now 7 and 2....there is plenty of room for 4, if 2 are children....no problem at all....
