Hello all, first time poster long time lurker. I am heading down to AKV-Kidani in October and am just about to hit the much-anticipated FastPass+ and online check-in this week, and I am EXCITED!
It's been about five years since I've been able to make a bona fide Disney World vacation; though I am a DVC owner there at AKV some rough circumstances caused me to have to do a life "do-over" and I haven't been able to go down in since. (Lawyers are expensive, y'all, and so is escaping my ex with not much other than my cat and my clothes! But I got the DVC in the divorce so all's well that ends well, right?
) I did get the opportunity to visit my favorite park Epcot for a day with some friends about three years ago but I'm sure you all know that a single day in Epcot only barely scratches the itch!
So naturally I am beyond hyped to only be two months out now, but my travel companions are... well only tolerating my hype I think. My husband now is a wonderful guy but isn't really a Disneyphile, and I think he can only take so much. So I'm here so I can be hyped up and not annoy them with my continuing chatter of abbreviations and tricks that only Disney people know about!
This is my first trip on FP+ and MDE, too, so here's hoping that goes okay despite the horror stories...
