Hey Disers!

I know this isn't WDW related, but you all are among the most tech and gadget oriented people I know. :)

DH and I have been planning to get me a tablet and have been going back and forth on options.

I've also been hoping to updated my laptop. I used to have a Macbook, but after a minor catastrophe, had to switch to a Windows machine. I seriously miss having a Mac laptop.

DH proposed the following to me, I can get either:

1) Any tablet (Android, iPad) plus a Windows laptop that is lighter/easier to carry than my current machine.

2) The lowest-end MacBook Air (11” screen, 64GB solid-state hard drive) and no tablet.

What would you guys choose? Any recommendations on tablets? Or reviews of MacBook Airs? I'm open to any/all suggestions.

I'd go with option two simply to avoid the pain of Windows.

The MBA is a wonderful machine, but I'd be a bit concerned about having only 64G of "hard drive" space. Can you stretch to a larger SSD?

I agree on the pain of Windows.

Turns out our local store is doing some kind of sale right now and they have a better Macbook Air at a lower price. YAY! :cool1:
