I am one of 4 adults only going on the 7 night Eastern. Can anyone give me suggestion of what to do on St. Maarten and St. Thomas.

This is our first cruise in this direction. Been on other cruises, but this is our first eastern.

Thanks everyone!:earsgirl: :earsboy: ::MickeyMo ::MinnieMo

We just returned from the 7 day Eastern. In St. Maarten, DD & I went to Orient Beach. It was beautiful. DH went on the 12 metre regatta and had the time of his life. On St. Thomas, DH & DD went on the kayak adventure and loved it. I took the St. John island tour and it was great. St. John is a beautiful island.

Have fun,

In St. Maarten, I'd highly recommend the 12-Metre Regatta or the Rhino Rider. Both were alot of fun.

In St. Thomas...we've done the St. John's Island tour, which is a good way to see an overview of St. Johns. I've heard that there are a number of great snorkling excursions, but we've not tried any of them. Also...we did alot of shopping in St. Thomas. If you have kids that are into Hello Kitty, there is an outlet at the Havensight Mall.

Hope this helps!!

In St. Maarten in May we did Orient Beach on our own. We rented time on the water tramp, rented some jet skis and just hung out on the beach. They have a restaurant, beach chairs and umbrellas for rent and its absolutely beautiful. Some of the "sites" were pretty funny to watch. We also went into town to the Guavaberry Emporium and got some Guavaberry liquor.

In St. Thomas we went to Paradise Point Tram on our own (short walk from the ship) and took some pictures, did some alcohol shopping at some of the stores (great prices) and then did the Doubloon Sail and Snorkel which was SO MUCH FUN!! Even our 5 year old enjoyed it!
