We are thinking about booking Disney's Spirit of Aloha Dinner Show on our May trip. This will be our first time and would like your reviews. Do you think any seat is a good seat or which would you book if you were to go again? We try to do at least one new thing on each trip and are really excited about seeing the show.

I've been twice and enjoyed it both times. The show is really fun--the grounds of the Poly are amazing. The drinks were yummy--only wine and beer are included with the show, but they have really good tropical drinks to purchase.

The food was pretty good. O'hana type cuisine...ribs, chicken on the bone, salad, pineapple bread. Nothing that was like, blow your socks off amazing...but it was good.

The seating situation I can't address. It's a huge tiered seating arrangement with long communal tables. So, you'll be seated next to complete strangers which some might find weird.

I think twice was enough for me...but again, it was a fun experience!

We've done it three times and loved it each time. We've also sat in categories 1, 2, & 3 and didn't think any of the seats were bad. (For cat 3, we were the last table in the back, and even that wasn't bad.) We really like the food and unlimited beer/wine and the show is fun (especially the Hawaiian Rollercoaster song & fire dancer.)

ETA: We've never been at a table with strangers, nor have I ever noticed that. The tables are a little close, but you're not forced to share a table with people you don't know.

Thank you for your feedback. We were unsure which seats to book. Sounds like any will be good. We are looking forward to seeing the show and our May trip.

we went in May and the grandkids have been with us a few times there and again loved the meal and the show..

We wont do it this year as hubby and I are going to try some new places..

We went last week - sat in tier 2, but it still wound up being in the front row but off to the side a bit. the meal was really good if you like pork (DD and I do) but there is chicken as well. The salads were good too. The show was very enjoyable.

Thank you! We have reservations for tier two for our May trip. We are looking forward to seeing the show. We like pork and chicken so that will be good. May can't get here soon enough!

We've done it twice, once in Category 3 on the DDP and once on Category 1 OOP. Highly recommend Category 1, we were front and almost dead center. Out category 3 seats were behind a pillar and I couldn't move my chair, meaning I spent the entire show craning my neck to see.

We've done it once. My DH & I enjoyed it. Our kids loved the show but didn't like the food. They were about 7 & 8 at the time and aren't picky eaters. They were brought Mac & cheese & hotdogs instead. We would do it again. Our seating wasn't great but we could still see everything.

I did it during my 2012 trip with DD17 and her friend, 15. We had a great time. They were testing out a new dessert at the time and I recall none of us liked it (they gave us a survey to take about it) but our server was great, the show was amazing, and the grounds of the Poly are just amazingly beautiful.

I am hoping to do it again during our split stay when we're staying at the Poly.

We did it last june-Category 2 seating-they were good seats. Food was pretty good (and alot of it!). the show was fun and entertaining (the fire dancer at end so good). We all enjoyed it but probably won't do it again as we want to continue to explore new things.
