Need some prayers please

Hi all my husband went to the doctors yesterday for a lump in his throat and they took blood. We are waiting on the results and i called and they have them but the doctor has not signed off on them yet so she can't tell me. Then she said that she should sign off on them today. I can't imagine waiting the whole holiday weekend when they are right there! We also have an ultra sound scheduled for Thursday. I am worried but hopeful. Thanks for all your wonderful support!

Grrrr I just called for the second time today and the paper is on the desk of the doctor waiting for her to sign it. But finally i the nurse said to me that they can get another doctor to sign off on it! DUH why do doctors like to torture people!!!!!! Just had to vent this time she took down my cell phone and said someone will call soon. Lets hope....

Great they called back and fast! Only to tell me that the doctor is out until Tuesday and the doctor that covers is also so I mentioned that the woman I spoke with said that another doctor could sign off and she said really? Well she says i guess i can send the results to the doctor that does not normally cover what is this! Torture i say. lets see what happens when she calls back again...

Ok so they just called and the blood work can back normal for a thyroid and strep came back good. So now we have to waity to see the ultra sound on Thursday to see if it is a cyst or a tumor but the nurse did tell me that a lot of people can live with this and just get it checked out once a year which would be great for us cause my husband is a seasonal worker and is working 72 hour weeks right now and can not take time off. But I am also hoping that this little scare even though its not over yet will get him to slow down and try to spend time with us. Thank you all for your prayers and I will update this on thursday after the ultra sound. Thanks again!
