Need some Port Orleans help

Thanks again everyone. Its a tough decision that my wife and I are likely to flip flop on given the amount of time between planning and actual booking. Thus far Im gathering people find Riverside to be a better option. We have been leaning that way based on theme, so I do appreciate every bit of help you guys have given. Thanks very much.

I read this as an opportunity, you will just have to stay at both. That is the wonderful thing about Disney there is always the next trip to plan.

I have stayed at both and I think you won't be disappointed with either. I loved POFQ b/c it was so small and easy to get around, short waits for buses, etc. My kids LOVED the pool, and it was so close to our room, and we weren't even that close to the pool. Its just that compact. So easy to get around with kids.

Both resorts have been refurbed, so you will get a newish room at either place. I love the boat to DTD, but you can get that at either one, so its a wash.

I think you should look at photos of the room interiors, and grounds and decide which is more appealing. POR is going to feel more 'southern' and woodsy, IMO. It also has a better QS option (food court is quite good) but FQ has the beignets! (You can walk between them so if you are dying to try something its a scenic walk away) I would happily go back to either one, and it would be a hard decision. I vowed to stay at a different resort, so I am going to try something new, but I would probably choose POR mansions, since I did POR AB, and the mansions would be the most different from what I have already done. I like to try new things.
