I'm thinking of taking a short trip in late August of this year. Thought about going solo, but may take my 8 y/o niece with me instead.

My home is SSR, but was thinking of staying at BCV, if a room is available, to make use of SAB. We'll only be at WDW for 3 nts/4days and will probably only do the parks 2 days (and not commando style). Want to relax and have pool time. May also go to Discovery Cove for a day.

I knoe it will be hot, but that doesn't really bother me, especially since we'll be at the pool a lot. So, here are my questions:

1. How crowded do you think it'll be at BCV (and SAB) in late Aug, (possibly 26-29th)?

2. Would it be better to stay at BWV and use the pool there? Not as crowded?

3. I have an old PHP pass left over from a trip several years ago (before they started using the finger scan). Could I let my niece use that ticket, even though she's a child? That would save me some money. I don't need it because I have an AP. Plus, any of the plus options she could use on future trips, when she will be considered an adult. Just want to make sure they don't stop us at the gate because it's an adult ticket.

4. If I do get a room at BCV, which area should I request to be near SAB and B&C?

Thanks!

I can't answer question #3 & 4, but I do know that late August is not a overly busy time as schools are back in session and the resorts and parks tend to be less full. I'd stay at BCV if that is your preference due to ability to access SAB. You can still go over to BWV and use their pool if staying at BCV, but not the reverse.
