My daddy died yesterday. I am forty and my dad was eighty two, but I haven't come to grips I don't think. Please send me some pixie dust cause I know it will help. Thanks.

Oh, I am so sorry. I am 39, my dad is 74, and I know that this is something we all must face eventually, but I hate thinking of it. I am absolutely sending you pixie dust and I will be thinking of you, your dad, and my dad also, all day.

Please take comfort in all your happy memories and the fact that you had him for 40 years. Your daddy would want you to be happy!

I too lost my daddy this week. My dad passed on Monday shortly after midnight. It is still very raw for me. I am leaving in about 1 hour to go to the visitation with my family. The Celebration of Life will be tomorrow. My daddy was a Methodist Minister for 52 years and he lived a wonderful life, he was 82. He died from Liver cancer and is finally free, I'll miss you forever daddy!!!

What a wonderful man he must have been. We are through the public stuff and now can just mourn in private. I've never been sadder, but I do have a lot to be thankful for. I hope you can get thru this and know he went straight to heaven. Best wishes to you.

I too pray for you and your family. I know my Daddy is in heaven. Today was a bit tough for the family, we had his service today. I know worry for my Mom. She suffers from bi-polar disorder and I am worried about her mental health.
