I thought I had everything in place as far as dining reservations go but I am beginning to have second thoughts about Christmas Day dinner. I have booked LeCellier and the candlelight processional for Xmas Eve, Cape May for breakfast on Xmas morning and Narcoosee's for dinner. We had dinner there last month and did thoroughly enjoy it but wonder it there may be another spot that would be extra special on that day. We will be staying at BWV and have two sons 11 & 12. Any imput would be greatly appreciated. First time away for Xmas Day and wonder if experienced people may have a better choice in mind.

Thanks
Joan

HI, we were at Disney last year for Christmas:santa: .....amazing fun. I understand the Magic Kingdom is crazy busy Christmas morning, however, we headed over to MK at about 3p for a 5p christmas dinner at Liberty Tree Tavern. It was YUMMY!!! Traditional Turkey dinner. I highly recommend it.

Good luck and have tons of fun!:goodvibes

We went last year for our first Christmas at Disney. You made the right choice with Candlelight Processional on Christmas Eve, we went that night and it really made it feel like Christmas. We did Liberty Tree Tavern for Christmas Dinner, while it wasn't our favorite meal or restaurant on our trip, the atmosphere there makes it feel like you're at home eating Christmas dinner.

We had originally thought about doing Liberty Tree but we were frightened off that idea when I read that the park is crazy. We really didn't want to contend with that. Now that I hear that it's not so crowded in the pm perhaps we will check on availability.

Thanks for the imput. We have been down the past four years for New Year's but this is our first Christmas. We can't wait.

It was definitely crowded and crazy...but we wouldn't have dreamed of ending our Christmas day anywhere else. We went there in the morning and had breakfast at Crystal Palace before the park even opened, that was really special too. Then we headed back to Boardwalk and took it easy during the afternoon instead of fighting the crowds all day. Headed back to Magic Kingdom for dinner at LTT and finished off the night with the fireworks, it was perfect!

We did the Hoop Dee Doo on Christmas day during an extended family trip three years ago and we LOVED it!!!! I would do it again every christmas if I could.

FYI-I phoned this morning after hearing from you all and the restaurant is Totally booked for Xmas :santa: Day. Thankfully we do have an alternate booked but we were hoping to make the switch. Oh well, maybe next time!

Ooooo this makes me want to plan a trip for next Christmas!:santa:

We've done CG for Christmas dinner in the past and are doing it again this Christmas. We love the food and the atmosphere. Its pretty cool to look out at MK and see the lights and Christmas decor. :santa:

I have never been during Christmas, though I have heard from many many many many people that the Wilderness Lodge is the best decorated for the holiday. You might want to check out Whispering Canyon. The waitstaff is humorous, your kids would enjoy. If they have a special holiday meal, even better.
