I have one of the 100 years books to display the pins and I LOVE IT! I am going to Wal-Mart and thinking okay get a three ring binder and a hole puncher and then get something to put the pins on...WHAT???

Any ideas? I don't like the bag and thats all I have!

I have been making my own binders too. I have a WDW and a 100 Dreams binder. Disney binders are very nice. However...
I had plenty of unused binders laying around.
I went to Michael's (a craft store) and bought thin foam sheets and felt sheets also.
They both came in value packets, which contained LOTS of each and were not that high.
They are double the size I need for a standard binder, so I just fold the sheets in half and cut.
The binders I have are actually a little handier in one way. They have front and back sleeve pockets.
I even found a small binder. I cut the pages down further and carry that binder in my pin bag for traders!:)
I had bought a Mickey head hole punch too. But I returned it. It was $7 - $8 and the foam sheets were too thick to slide in the slit where you insert the sheet.

Oh -- I also bought some trading card pages at an office supply store. 10 sheets for $2! I use those for the pins I leave on cards. Right now I just have a little tape at the top of each section to keep the pins from sliding out. But I suppose you could get little velcro round circles to close each pocket at the top.
So my binders have a trading card page, a foam sheet (pins mounted on those), and a felt sheet (to separate the pin pages).

Hi...I use foamies...they come in 8x11 sheets for a couple for a dollar at the craft store. I then insert them in page protectors to keep the pins from scratching against the prior page. It works well for keepers and traders.

I also use the baseball card pages for ones on cards but instead of tape at the top of each card spot I put the pinback through the plastic and secure it on the outside. Works really well and keeps your traders really organized.

I keep these in trapper type binders the zipper type. That way if a pin comes loose you dont lose it.

hope this helps

It's a good idea to get the binders that zip close. That way the pins can't go anywhere. And you can use those plastic trading card sheets between the pages to protect the pins......or use sheets of felt.

I have also seen some people use the thick plastic needlepoint sheets and cut them to fit a binder. the most interesting thing that I saw was someone who used a CD carrier case. Only problem with that was there was nothing between the pages to protect the pins.

We have a bunch of foamie sheets in 3-ring binders also (found some really nice binders on clearance at Sam's Club, of all places). We used gromits to secure the ring holes on the foamies, and they work great!!

Well what I ended up doing was taking Trading Card Sheets and put the inside it and then putting one of those cross stitch colored cards on the bag of the trading card sheet and then putting the back on the pin....It gives it some color. Then I took the foam sheet and put it in the middle to protect the backing and the front of the next page. Its very colorful...LOL!!
