Need some help with AP/AAA rates?

Bit of a Universal Resort newbie here, I stayed one night at HRH last year but paid full rack rate.

I have AAA and will probably be getting an AP, are discounts usually avail with either of these, I have checked the Univ site and just get standard prices whatever I enter.

Can someone please tell me how the discounts work (I am looking for April next year) as if I can get some discount I will be able to stay longer. Do I have to call Universal directly or will some kind souls be posting on here when they become available?

I don't believe discount rates (AP or AAA) get released for 2006 until late in the year. Maybe someone else knows when??

When I initially booked the HR for Dec., the best rate I got was with AAA, but a few months later the AP rate dropped it to $179 so keep checking!!

My AAA TA told me the discounted rates aren't released till later in the year (she told me Oct. for my June trip).....

I have just checked the site and the HRH availability for the dates I want next Apr (22nd -23rd) shows only the $559/night rate, last time I checked I could get a room for $329! Will more rooms become available or should I just book RPR now just in case...I am panicking now!!
