Need some help with a cat's name

We are getting a cat tomorrow! He is all black and we need a really good name for him. Suggestions? I would love to hear from any of you in South Carolina who may have a name that will help us think of home!

How about naming him Charleston-- call him Charlie for short. Could be male or female.

They were Egyptian gods related to the afterlife. Unusual enough to be different but they still sound really cool.

DH and I have always had black cats but their names weren't typical black cat names. Steiglitz (after Alfred Steiglitz the photographer), Buonarotti (after Michaelangelo Buonarotti - called him Bo), Anakin (after Anakin Skywalker), Emmie and Eva.

We still have Emmie and Eva, the boys have all crossed the rainbow bridge.

Dh says the next black cat we get should be named Boo. I like that - especially since one of my favorite disney movie characters is Boo from Monster's Inc.

There is always Ebony, Ebon, Midnight, and Coal (Cole) - My favorite of those being Coal.

Our black cat is named Jaguar, but we call him Jaggy and he is just the sweetest.
Is this a kitten? If its a grown cat, does he have a name already?

I remember someone on these boards had a cat named Boma, and I thought that was so cool. Somehow I think Boma might be good for a black cat. There's also the racoon from Pocohantas (Mushu?), but he's more grey than black.
