My family and I went to Disney last year and all the plans were made easily. Well, this year, we are having a really hard time. We are wanting to go from Dec. 27th to January 2. All the travel agencies are saying the Value resorts are all booked...and we really need to stay onsite to get the dining mean plan. Can anyone help me find a site or place that I can look up or call to find out about any way we can get this trip booked? And maybe find out about cancellations? Any help would be very much appreciated. Thanks.

Being that it's over New Years, the agencies are probably right. I would call Disney and ask them. I know you said about needing to stay on site for the dining plan, but maybe you could reserve rooms elsewhere(as long as you could cancel) and just keep calling Disney to see if they've had cancellations.

The problem is that you are trying to book a vacation 6 weeks out from one of the busiest times of the year at Disney. I would call Disney. They will know about cancellations first. If they don't have something today, call back tomorrow. In the meantime, look for an offsite hotel that might be acceptable. Also, check mousesavers for hotel specials.

You are going to have a second problem once you book a room and that is getting ADRs at the restaurants that you want to eat at. I am having problems adjusting my ADRs for my trip in 2 weeks, and we are going at one of the slowest times of the year.

Good Luck!
