Last time we were at Disney was Feb. 2014. I was thinking of getting annual passes to start using in Feb 2016-2017.

What has been added/refurbished since we were there last? And what will be added in the time we will have annual passes?

Thanks so much! We were annual/semi-annual Disney go-ers for about 13 years straight. Now that we have 4 kids..of which will all be Disney adults come November, we can't get down there as much as we would like...financial, school, and activities is getting in our way. I haven't kept complete tabs on all the changes.

Last time, we did have magic bands and missed 7 dwarfs by a few weeks or so

Since Feb 2014 the only new thing that you've missed is 7 Dwarfs Mine Train and Anna and Elsa. I think the only thing to be added before 2017 is the new Frozen ride in Epcot. But you've missed a lot in the non-ride realm: the Hub expansion, Casey's Corner has more seating, etc.

But the only big things you've missed is 7DMT and A&E.

DTD is under a huge construction project. The Maelstrom ride is gone. Are you familiar with how the FP+ system works?

You know the giant circle in front of the castle? Well, it's doubled in size since you were last there so there is a lot more room to see the fireworks in front of the castle.

They've also added more outlets to charge your phone in many, many places.

They took down the giant sorcerer's hat in Hollywood Studios. They took out American Idol and replaced it with a Frozen sing a long. Downtown Disney has completely changed.

The biggest change is Fastpass + and the magic bands. I don't think they had that in Feb 2014 (or it was brand new then).

I know people don't think a lot of changes happen at Disneyworld, but when I think about everything that's different since Feb 2014 there is a ton. It's not all about rides, the improvements to the Hub make the experience at Disneyworld much better by giving us all more room to walk around.

Pirates is being refurbished and it is possivke Avatar Land will be open during your year

We did get magic bands and also had fastpass+. It was brand new at the time.

The sorcerer's hat? So sad. What is there in place of that?

Are the outlets typically in one type of location? Like near restaurants or bathrooms?

It closed June 8 and the estimated reopen date is September 25 this year.
