I need a few more things to finish off my Christmas shopping so here goes...

House socks/Fuzzy socks / stay at home socks. So far I've found the prices to be around $5.00 on sale for one pair. Last year I know I got a bunch on black friday for about 2/$4 so a really good deal. I'm having trouble with the idea of paying $5 for one pair. (Normally $8-12.99 at various stores) Any stores with good quality, warm ones for less than $5 a pair? I need about 8 pairs and wonder if I should wait closer to the Holiday to buy them.

Mens shaving brush. (Not sure of the real name) but it's used on the beard to spread shaving cream. I'm looking for one that looks fancy but haven't seen any in stores. I hear different types of bristles are better? Anybody know anything about these and how much I can expect to pay for one.

Stocking stuffer stuff :rotfl2: I need things for a 14yo girl, a mother and a father. So far I've thought about getting

Lottery tickets - Maybe a few $1 scratch offs each?
Gum, mints
Smelly Candles
bath products
Pretty pens/pencils for school
Nice razors - they usually only buy the very basic orange ones but love the nice ones.

And that's it- no idea on what else I can get that fits inside a regular stocking. I'd like to spend no more than $30-40 each. What stores should I look at to buy these things. I've seen some cute bath salts and lotions at target but one was $14.99 and the other was $11.99 which I'm guessing was just for the cute packaging. Found a cute bar of soap for 6.99. I'm looking for things they wouldn't buy themselves "Fancy stuff" or at least fancy looking. I did forget to look at the travel sizes but I'm trying to limit target trips to one a week because money just slips out of my pocket at this place. So I'll be back later this week.

I'd snag them at this price.

I've seen them in the Duluth catalog. Here's a link

Try looking at Bath & Bodyworks type places. Sometimes they have small bottles of stuff really reasonable. Also, look at Walmart etc..for gift sets (even Dollar stores or CVS type places) that you can break apart. I've gotten the men's Old Spice & Axe sets using coupons and they were on sale, opened them, wrapped the stuff and it fills a good bit of stocking. The bath salts etc...I KNOW they have at Dollar stores cheaper and they come in pretty packages.
As for the razors, would store brand be ok? My DS had the Gillette fancy one, but the refill blades are SO $$$ so I got him the Stop & Shop brand razor and the blades are MUCH cheaper, but still nicer than the disposable ones.

They have the fuzzy socks at Old Navy for $5 but sometimes they go on sale for 2/$5. I'm wearing a pair right now :lmao: They also have them at Bath and Body works for $3!

They would also probably have some good stuff for stocking stuffers too. The little bottles of hand sanitizer are really nice and they have a ton of different scents. Also some fun lip glosses and really nice candles.

Don't underestimate the dollar bins at Target! You can find a lot of fun stuff there! :goodvibes

Maybe places like CVS, Walgreens, and Rite Aid would have bath stuff that might be a little cheaper too. I haven't looked there though so I'm not sure.

Good luck! :goodvibes

I think they had fuzzy house socks at target 3 for 8....I think

The shaving brush..oy..that was Dh's request last year...he likes the soap better with the brush than other stuff...:confused3 I bought him one off of amazon..I want to say it was made from Badger. It had really good reviews (which I love to read from live people) and the bristles do not fall out and it was rough made brom boar bristles if I recall correctly (which happened with the cheapy one his mom bought him from walmart) I want to say the brush was around 30.00 but it has held up well and dries very nicely the bristles do not stick together it fluffs right back up :) Something like the one in the link below :)

In WM this morning they were putting out some red and green socks for 2.00 a pair. My DD's love the ones from B&BW. Right now B&BW has some coupons out (they are giving them when you make a purchase, ask one of the employees walking around if they have an extra one) for 10.00 off of 30.00.

I have never purchased a shaving brush before but how about looking at Sally's or asking at a men's barber shop.

My girls also love the vickey mints from VS. B&BW has some cinnamon mints in a little Christmas lite case.

If they read how about a new book mark or book light.

A nail kit, try at B&BW, bought one there last year. Maybe some nail polish .

Try "the art of shaving" - they have gorgeous stuff. Sometimes you can even find a gift set at costco.

I've seen tons of those Fuzzy socks at Dollar stores. They seemed to be of decent quality too.

I got 2 pairs of the fuzzy socks at Kohls for about 5.00. They were bundled together as 2 packs

Big Lots has those fuzzie socks in 3pks for $5.

There are a few threads here on the BB or on the CB with some good suggestions for stocking stuffers.

I got Hue brand fuzzy socks at TJ Maxx about a month ago for 2.99. They're super soft and have some non-stick material on the bottoms of the feet.

If you can find some inexpensive jars, it's easy and cheap to make really nice bath salts. All you need are epsom salts, baking soda, glycerin, your choice of essential oils, and if you want, food coloring. There was a site I found that had labels you could print out or you could design and print your own. Ulta has essential oils or you could probably find them for less at an online site. Just google the recipe. Bath bombs are also easy to make and placed in some tulle with ribbon make a really pretty gift too. I think the hardest person to buy for will be the Dad as there are things for teens and ladies aplenty but guys are so much harder to buy for!---Kathy
